Regarding the glue issue, I used starbond super glue to put mine together. I’m going to let it set up but it worked good for the middle and bottom layers. But no glue ended up on the glass because it’s so thin

I’ve lived in the US for 3 decades and been to many of those types of parties where, well, let’s just say kid’s should not be included… 
White Elephant or Yankee Swap is the “family friendly version” down here…
