Greetings earth being. It is I, the Cosmic Cube:

Let’s party!

When inert, the cube presents as a simple white box, 5.25 inches square cube straight from the always wonderful MakerCase Box Generator.

When active, the cube can display a variety of patterns:

The music sensitivity needs some adjusting, but conceptually it’s pretty cool.

The innards consist of one of these:

The waterproof part is overkill (these were intended for another project).

It should make a nice addition to the game room. It’s also a good jumping off point for some other wild ideas in my head.

Well, you’ve made it too easy - I ordered those innards earlier! (Hope it really is that easy as you make it sound…) I’ll surprise my husband with it, who already has everything else I could possibly make, but wouldn’t expect this!
