That lovely round purpleheart pick reminded me of something - I remember playing around with the “fat end” of picks at some point when one of our friends was talking about using it for a different sound in live performances. It was different, being stiffer, if I recall, but I never had much use for it - and I also never played for an audience, or even in a band per se.

Thank you. The idea is that it’s decorative but still can be used. Not necessarily “the best” choice.
