Tiny whimsical art

I didn’t plan what I was making. I just grabbed whatever materials struck me as interesting in the moment, and the result makes me absurdly happy. The frame is pastel acrylic with a paint fill. I like to use clear acrylic gel gloss with pigments and glitter rather than straight paint. Getting the masking off of the tiny details was a real chore though.

What a wonderful object. Things that make you absurdly happy are real treasures. Thanks for the description of how you use your colors.

Is the gummi bear for scale? Nicely done.

Is that an actual edible gummi or a glass/plastic bear?

The gummy bear is made of resin. I have a particular fondness for food themed jewelry, so I always have a few lying around the studio.

I love gummis. As for removing the small bits of masking, Gorilla tape is the ultimate, unless you engrave without masking and then just use a soft brush to clean. Depends on the depth.

Thanks, I knew there must be a better way to do it!
