Tutorial - Preparing a Masked Image for Engraving

This is basically my workflow for turning text, kids drawings, and other odds and ends into cutouts - I love it. Takes a few prints to get quick, then it’s just magical.

I did, though in practice i’ve found adjusting the image to give better results than the sensitivity of the magic wand. I actually almost never use the magic wand in general these days, it’s all about the quick selection brush and refine edge. :smiley:

This is great information and thank you. I can do the steps in PS, but don’t have Illustrator. Is this similar in Inkscape? Just learning how to use Inkscape as well!!
