Vertical Stripes When Etching Glass With Photo

I haven’t done this, but I know when folks have that issue in acrylic the advice is to try doing it defocused…worth a shot?

What you are seeing are artifacts from the raster lines as it sweeps back and forth on an engrave. Depending on your LPI and power and speed, these can be more or less pronounced. Reading this topic and others like it to see if it helps.
