At least something good came out of it!
how has your experience been with the technology quality of the USBs? i purchased the same ones and they were REAAAAAAALLY slow. a couple i had to do a low-level reformat on (which took almost an hour because of how slow).
Have only used one myself and that was fine. I’ve not had any complaints, but it could be my friends don’t want to complain about their gifts… I figure at less than $4 a piece they are not the high end of usb keys and you wouldn’t use them as such.
yeah, i hear you on “getting what you paid for.” i actually used them for work, so it was disappointing. they looked great, tho.
Maybe some of my friends think they are too pretty to use…
Thanks everyone for the info! @ahr2 your settings worked beautifully!!
Nice work, font too! Glad those settings work for you.
I wasn’t actually using these myself honestly. An acquaintance of mine does wedding photography and uses these for the photos for her customers.
what settings did you use for the walnut? I just tried an engrave/cut and the engrave was too deep but the cut didn’t go all the way through.
pretty sure i just used walnut hardwood for engrave.
cut will depend on the thickness of the wood.
