Wood and Cork Coasters for Wedding Reception

I’m always impressed with your projects and this was no exception. I have a pretty good idea of the scope, since I did the same for my niece last year. I found a source for these 2" glass tiles and reverse engraved the back with a logo they were happy with. Attached very thin rare-earth magnets on the back to make a fridge magnet. They were at each setting. Can’t remember how many, but let’s just say my niece is a very social butterfly, so I know it was in the hundreds. I also did some small favors for the rehearsal dinner. Their name is “House”, so I engraved and cut a tiny little house with their names on some 1/16" plywood. (House-house, git it?) You can see the pen in the background for scale. Somewhat cheesy, but they liked it. And of course, the table numbers. This was a VERY last minute project, when the ones they had delivered looked too small and it was too late to order more. I had enough maroon (one of the wedding colors) 1/8" plywood to make them with mirrored-gold acrylic numbers. An hour on the GF and 30 minutes with a tube of superglue - crisis averted!
