We're Kris and Chris, a couple who enjoy crafting together and individually.

Chris does a lot of sewing, quilting, and fiber arts. She's planning lots of fun fiber art projects with the Glowforge. Wants to experiment with cutwork embroidery, applique, and quilting applications.

Kris does blacksmithing and metal work. He's looking forward to all the fun things he can engrave. He's also likely to use the glowforge to do some leatherwork, making sheaths and such for his tools.

Both Chris and Kris do a bit of woodworking. There are so many fun projects we've been discussing using wood. Doing lots of thinking about gears, mechanical contraptions, and perpetual motion machines. We're going to have so much fun building some of these type objects.

Chris does quite a bit of gardening and wild food foraging. She also loves nature inspired art and has quite a few ideas about fun natural objects she might cut up or engrave with the glowforge.
