Manufacturing engineer, designer, machinist, and tinkerer. Currently working with R&D transferring new product designs to manufacturing sites. Education was in applied physics, but started working as a drafter at 17.
Originally from a little city in the middle of Texas (30 miles from the geographic center of that great state), but moved to Tennessee in 2010. I had to leave the mill and grinder behind when we moved, but still have a lathe, a couple of 3D printers, die cutter, and now a Glowforge.
I spend my evenings playing with numbers, creating databases, and building items for my wife to use in the classroom.
