Basically, I like pretty things. I was a graphic designer then a web designer then a webmaster at Dell. I quit to be a daytrader. I had two kids. I started a website to sell cool cowboy baby nursery decor. I thought I'd sell cool stuff other people made, but people mostly ordered this rope art my husband and I made. The site is old, and I shut down the business after ten years, it was too much time for too little money. www.buckaroostyle.com. I started a dog boarding business, www.bliss-boarding.com, and have that going now, but it's not feeding my desire for pretty things. I am starting a new business called, Unicorn Crush, and this is where the glowforge comes in. I want to make more pretty things, and awesome things, but make them very quickly.

I've been taking classes at TechShop in Austin - Round Rock including a Universal Laser and a Tormach Milling Machine and a water jet and even basic metalsmithing and basic metal workshop.
