I went to school for Logistics and spend the last 4 years in transportation logistics, but am currently training to be an Insurance Agent, having moved to get married and also have gotten an offer for this exciting new job! I have no professional training in digital media, but have made several film productions with my family for fun and for a summer camp that's sponsored by a college booster club. My older brother and I have always had grand ideas for things, so when he told me about Glowforge, back when it was just a mailing list input box, I had to jump and I'm glad to be along for this ride--I am unfazed by the delays, thanks to my logistics background. My wife and I have some very exciting projects in mind and would like to make a side business out of selling some of what we create. I have some experience with 3DS Max, but now work in Blender and GIMP, and have a serious need to start learning Inkscape.
