Owner of a Glowforge Pro

I’m a UNIX systems administrator for the computer science department at a small college near Los Angeles. So I spend most of my day babysitting computers and addressing their tantrums.

At home I do a lot of embroidery (these days mostly surface embroidery, stumpwork, and goldwork, but also cross stitch, needlepoint, etc.) and occasionally do other Maker-type stuff. (I know which end of the soldering iron is hot.)
