19" x 19" Three-Layered Sign - Medium Draftboard & Acryclic Paint

My first Glowforge project was a welcome sign for my sister’s business, Sunshine Suzy. She calls her workshop “the happy place.”

Design was created in Photoshop. Three pieces of the sample PG medium draftboard were used. The oversized 19" x 19" size was achieved by cutting the sun in two pieces – I disguised the seam by placing the bottom letters over it. Then I used two coats of basic acryclic paint and assembled using craft glue.

Really excited to get this hanging at her workshop!

I’m excited for you! It’s really an incredible machine. Set up my basic model on Friday night and I’ve been creating non-stop. It’s pretty dang easy to use and the community forum is full of advice for settings and materials!
