I thought I’d try my skills with making a popular requested item.
This 2 layered USA country outline with flag background had been requested a few times since I started posting my multi-layered designs. I had thought about adding in items for certain landmarks or reference ideas; such as the Statue of Liberty, Golden Gate Bridge on additional layers, but it ended up taking away from the simplicity of the design.
Measures 17.5" wide and 10.8" in height.
For my photos attached:
I used “Medium Base Plywood” for my settings.
First layer is made with 1/4" cherry plywood.
Second layer is made with 1/4" maple plywood.
-For the stars on the photo I used “Engrave” at 1000 speed, 50 power, LPI 225, # of passes 1, focus height auto.
-For the stripes on the photo I used “Engrave” at 1000 speed, 15 power, LPI 225, # of passes 1, focus height auto.
My personalized hanging bracket is included with files.
