3/4" Cast Acrylic

My local plastics supplier gifted me :tada: :tada: :tada: two 4’ x 5" - 3/4" thick pieces of clear cast acrylic… what should I make with it?

You could have a really nice 24" table with elaborate filigreed design between the legs, and a nice top? Perhaps in glass or tile?

Sounds hard… cool, but hard :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:.
I made this for my wife’s desk as a test.

I thought about embedding some glow wire in the inside perimeter of an oak frame for lighting.

El-wire is way too dim for that. Look at a nice dense led strip instead.

I used to put it on my planes and helicopter, but that was so long ago I really can’t remember how bright it was.

This was my first surviving test :grin:
