The current Glowforge software includes an AI driven “Box Builder” (icon in top menu of insertion tools is a box with emphasis marks) … I simply wrote a brief paragraph with descriptions and measurements for two different boxes and the program quickly designed all the pieces, including tabs for gluing and assembly. One box included a double-layer design for a lid (the back plate is slightly smaller so it fits in the opening, while the upper plate spans across the opening). The other box has more pieces, but was easy to assemble into a long flat box with a sliding lid.
