It gets even easier. All of those lithophanes were created on this website:
I’ve also created my own by hand in Blender but it is much easier to just upload the image if it is a simple design.

@lairdknox Shut your mouth! That’s awesome. I haven’t saved a website in a while now…very promising!
ROFL! Just had to try it, and locked my computer up because of simultaneous download and too many tabs open.
Bookmarked!
Yeah I remember the web site being a bit flaky but even with the random crashes it is still faster than doing it by hand.
Be careful on the image size. You don’t want it trying to process a 24MP image.
Me too! My computer really started going at it (fans firing up) when I increased the number of vectors at each vertex (at least I think that’s what was the root cause…I changed like five variables at once in the model setting)! Nonetheless…that’s going in my hopper!
Here is another link to a website which has some similar, but different options.
A Playground for digital Makers
@lairdknox, great looking lithophanes. Well done!
I almost forgot, Thingiverse has some lithophane generators as well.
That. Is. Awesome!
Bookmarked that one too…thanks!
These are just amazing. Getting a 3D printer in a month, I can’t wait to try this out!
