Just some simple engraving on Medium Maple Hardwood at different setting to see what they look like. Just a linear gradient, a black sample square, a spherical gradient and elliptical gradient to get the feel of how everything interacts. Might try this again but with more passes to see if I can get a deeper effect without so much burning.
It would be nice if GF provided a project that we could load onto other materials or provided a library of images showing the material and different settings and results.
Also anyone got tips on removing the glue from the paper mask? On some low setting the laser seems to cook the glue making it really hard to remove from the wood.
