3D Interlocking Shark & Whale

Shark is ultra cool! Where can I find the slicer app?

If you already have Fusion 360 - Slicer for Fusion 360 | Fusion 360 | Autodesk Knowledge Network

If not, install Fusion 360 first  If you’re not using it for business they have a free hobbyist license.

Not sure now. I have it installed but it won’t open without going thru an educator or student verification. I use it a couple of times a year.

I had slicr installed but I can’t even get into fusion now.

It’s still there, but they’re calling it “for personal use” now

It can be used as a stand-alone app, despite the name. I never launch it directly from within Fusion 360, although you can if you want. I used the Google machine to find it, but it’s been a while since I’ve installed it. If you’re unsure how to use a search engine like Google, just click the link below. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

These are brilliant. Makes me want to see how to incorporate Fusion 360 in my own works. A Crustacean with overlapping scales as another possibility.

Won’t open for me (Slicr)… as stated, wants educator/student verification, same as Fusion.

Just sign up for the personal license as that’s free. The caveat is it only let you have 10 projects open at the same time. Once slicer is installed, maybe that’s when you can open it up without having to open up fusion 360.

That’s what I have. When I opened it, it forced an update and won’t continue without verification of educational status. It seems like they’ve taken away the hobby user option.

As I stated, that’s what I have. I’ve never sold anything, that’s how I am registered.

I freaked out and I thought the same thing. It’s not obvious at all. I think I finally clicked through the subscription and the hobbyist option comes up. I couldn’t find it for a while.

EDIT: I think you click on free trial and then it asks if you are a hobbyist.
