3D Lighthouse

Found this amazing design and thought I would give it a shot.
18" tall
All stained Baltic Birch except the led lights, etched acrylic windows and nylon rope railings.

That worked out really nicely.

All you need now is a mini sixth order fresnel lens and nobody will crash into your curio cabinet.

Very nice lamp. I believe you now need to purchase a beach home where it would look awesome.

I love how you got the customary “striping” on the lighthouse with the living hinge! That is totally awesome and beautiful!

Thank you so much for sharing this build!!

We live 2 blocks from the beach and Fernandina Beach/Amelia Island has a very historic lighthouse which is what gave me the idea.

…assume you purchased it? With most designs I buy you have to do a bunch of work to get them fully laser-ready, did you have to tweak it much?

Yes, purchased the design and it was very well done and easy to cut. Assembling it was another story and was very frustrating on some parts which required an extra set of hands.

Where did you get the design? I would like to try it as well. Thanks
