3d printer with multiple materials

Meh. My original MakerBot Dual had two extruders and could print multiple materials. And that was >10 years ago, at least…

The M3D I bought tales 3 colors and black to weave into a million colors, or it is supposed to if I can get it working.

Did you watch the video? This is many steps beyond that. Multimaterials from the same nozzle, it’s pretty impressive.


Very cool how they are able to get such high change out speeds on materials. just spits out an ever changing thread

Yes. This is quite different in the speed and resolution and material. Pretty cool.


Umeleon makes a machine that does that - they can Pantone match colors. And it really works. :slight_smile:
