3D Printing Part 2

I just started 3d printing in July. My machine has been running almost nonstop. There’s so many things to print  . Right now I’m starting on Christmas. Here’s one I just finished for my little 3 year old granddaughter. It’s especially fun having little ones to print for!

What about the crevices or whatever that harbor bacteria that you can’t clean?

That’s still what I always come back to. I was thinking of trying out something like a food-grade shellac (food-safe resin would work but I’m allergic).

I guess I live on the edge…I use my stuff for chocolates, m&ms etc. When I think back to when we got our drinks out of the water hose if you tilted it just right it was cold and refreshing without wearing the water…now that’s a huge no no…we survived

I also have a 3 yr old grandaughter, but her mother forbids me to print her any toys that can become a choke hazzard, so I stick mostly to large models.

This was a hand painted exception I made which she is only allowed to play with GrandPa under supervision:

That is so cool. I can’t even tell you how many things I’ve printed for my grandkids since I got my printer in July. They are at the best age for ‘cool’ stuff and Makerworld has so many files it’s mind boggling. My daughter says they have a special box for “Mimi things”. (they also have a special Christmas tree for Mimi ornaments of all the things I’ve made them from the GF, etc. She has four kids so they each get their own…adds up!)
