Does anyone know if you can use a different brand of electrical degreaser to clean fan vs 3m noted?
I would not use either. I think brushes and qtips are the way to go rather than dragging the machine outside to run the exhaust fan at a very high speed.

People have - the big reason to use 3M is it’s not flammable, the majority of electronics degreasers are very flammable. If you’ve found one that’s not, great! If not, I’m with @dklgood and I continued to use these instructions (until my machine was out of warranty and then I yeeted that fan entirely and use solely my external one).
