4th of July door sign

I used my EufyMake 1 to color the mdf after cutting out the design from the catalog. Really happy with the result!

That looks great! I’m not very familiar with UV printing. I’m assuming you print on the individual pieces first, then assemble. Is that correct? How long does it take to print something like this vs painting?

Thanks!

I cut the pieces out, then printed onto each piece individually. I’m not sure how long it took and I didn’t think to check at the time. It was definitely over 30 minutes.

Painting would probably by much quicker, but I’m not a great painter. I printed a layer of white under each color to get a true color on the mdf.

The UV ink is smooth and complete coverage. If I had used paint, the result would have been patchy.

I’m just a home crafter, not making things to sell, so the time doesn’t matter to me.

This turned out great! I’ve used my Eufy to paint a couple of things as well, love it! I’m a terrible painter as well.

A beautiful sign for a memorable 250th fourth of July anniversary.

It’s beautiful! And dangit, this is the third outstanding uv print I’ve seen in the last few minutes. I’ve been resisting that printer on the basis of having no place to put it, but I suppose I could toss out one of the cars, or my husband’s stored winter clothes, or something…

Not the husband’s stuff! :scream:

How about shoes? Probably have a few dozen extra pairs

He has more shoes than I do!

My wife used to say that. Then we moved & I packed the closet & bedroom :joy:

I was good though, I brought them all.

I goofed, the name is the Eufymake E1.

it’s a UV printer, small enough for a home crafter.
