6 Layer Elk Art Piece

Based on the positive feedback I’ve received with my bear and moose, I decided to create an elk using the same theory.
This 6 layered Elk is 10.8" wide and 10.2" high. I’ve made this one using mahogany, walnut, cherry and maple 1/4" plywood.
An extra file has been added to accommodate 1/4" and 1/8" wood. The only difference between the two is the size of the holes in the base.

Enjoy.

Thank you.

Nice!

Wasn’t it just 2 days ago I was giving you a hard time about it always being a 7 layer piece? haha
I do believe this Elk is perfectly captured with 6 layers

Nicely done!

Lol, it was. I had thought about separating g the mountain from the background making it 7, but then I thought I’d change it up because I remembered your post.
