I tend to start early with Christmas and my favorite theme of all is “A Charlie Brown Christmas.”
Background, snow and character backers is all made from 1/4" PVC panel cut by hand or on my CNC machine.
Foreground character pieces are black foamcore with an applique of painted cardstock (just spray can applied). Everything is held in position with 3/4" x 1/16" neodymium magnets.
Size is 4 feet long by 2 feet tall.
