It’s been a while since I’ve posted any work I’ve made. Here are some more saya/ knife covers that have been keeping me in employ as of late! Everything was cut on the GF! Some wood, some leather.
Those all look fantastic.
Yea, very nice!
Did you make the knives as well?
I wish I had those skills! Knifemaking is definitely on my to do list!
I have been wondering what to do with my sample leather and the other i ordered.
This might be it. Any tips?
Really amazing covers!
If you plan on using anything besides black thread, punch the holes out yourself for sewing. The soot from cutting tiny holes in leather is near impossible to get out and will stain threads and make them look dingy.
Leather smells in the GF! But the results of patience with working it are fantastic!
Beautiful. I especially like the green one.
Very nice covers. I especially like the clasp that holds the knife in.
Gorgeous! I really admire your stitching.
Oh now that’s JUST what I need!
Thank you! First time saddle stitching WITH an awl. Took a minute to get it down!
A great rabbit hole that will also suck-up all your money. Most knifemakers I have known that was their first go-to.
Great pics, they turned out fantastic.
All of them are beautiful!
Nice variety, and they all look great!
So cool. Nicely done
