A pop up Valentine Card

You will need two 5 by 8 index cards, glue stick, and Red sticky notes.

Use the attached PDF to make your card parts.

The first card will be the inserts and the second card will be the base.

The black lines are the cut lines, the green lines are score lines for the inserts. The yellow lines are score lines for the base card.

This illustrates the order and power settings for the Pro to cut the inserts.
Also, note the power levels and speeds I used for these note cards…

If you didn’t know, you can change the order of the cuts and scribes by dragging them up or down.

The tabs at the base of the inserts should be bent backwards.

I like using a glue stick to attach the inserts to the base. I used two Sticky notes to mask off the area where I wanted the glue.

Attach the front insert first, the lovers. Then attach the heart background.

I used a red sticky note to add some color to the lettering by attaching it to the back of the heart.

On the base card the long score in the middle is the bend line. The four slanted lines are the locations for attaching the inserts.
