A practical niche thing

This is a support for the hose for Aura or Spark which was just published in the catalog. The hoses are…well, very floppy. I have very short runs on mine. One day while using the Aura, smoke began filling the interior and I could smell strong fumes. Turns out, the hose had flopped over creating too many bends.

This is such a practical cut that I’m ashamed that I didn’t come up with it! Good job!

Great idea! I actually have that same problem with my Glowforge Pro. I have to leave a portion of the hose loose, as the laser is on a cart because we have to shift it around sometimes.

I would guess that the CO2 lasers might have similar issues. Mine is stretched to the max so I can get 48" pieces behind it, but going from the external fan to the outside has issues.
