A Rocky Situation

Not my first creation, but this is my first post on “Made on a Glowforge.”

Story Time: My manager’s (his name is frank) birthday is today. And last week, I was told (by a coworker named rocky) that I should make him something. Great, I got like 5 days to come up with something, I haven’t even touched inkscape yet, and I got no ideas.

LAST NIGHT, I had an idea. Not prefect, not my first print, but my first design from start to finish. The guy in the photo is Rocky, he’s the “trouble maker”
of the office everyone loves.

Nice conversion of the photo to the laser! I know I’ve spent much more than 2 hours on some that didn’t come out nearly as well!

Honestly probably just luck and good lighting of the photo. Cause so far I’ve had decent photo engraves.

Edit: I’ve found first converting the photo to black and white gives a better representation of what it will likely turn out like.

The little personal projects are always fun, and each project makes you more familiar with work methods.
