A sheet-full of Ornaments

I can’t remember the last time I ran a two-hour job…

3mm BB ply, sprayed with gold and silver sparkle Rustoleum.

I believe it’s technically a sheetload.

I am guessing you are feeling better? At least with this length of a print you can sit and rest.

Yes, thank you. Non-symptomatic for a week, today’s my last day masking in public.

i’ve got to get my workshop set up in the new house. Don’t have the exhaust fixed and that is the hangup. Not sure what I am going to do to have a reliable exhaust port in a window in the new house. In the meanwhile I am just regretting how little making I’ve been doing lately.

Any way you can replace a glass with acrylic with a hole cut in it for the exhaust? Keeping the original window, of course.

I would do a sheet of pink insultation the size of the window and cut a hole in it and replace the window. That worked in my first setup. Again. I’m sharing a house now and have less free reign to do what I want.

But doesn’t the insulation block the view? With acrylic, at least you can still see through it.

I had to adapt when I moved into my apartment. Took the inside screen off and replaced it with a large sheet of plexiglass with a hole cut out for the GF hose. The windows crank open and close horizontally, so I have to make sure I open the glass when I want to use my GF. On windy or very rainy days, I don’t use the GF…wind or rain could come right into the hose. Not as great a set up as before in my old house, but it really works just fine for the most part.

More concerned about the cold and heat. One thing though is that it does make an easy ingress for burglary. Not sure what I am going to do and that’s why I’m not doing anything at the moment.

Have you set up your Aura? The personal filter works great and you can set up your system pretty much anywhere.

I need to set it up in my office with that filter. I could do some stuff with it. Just not in a creative mood. I’m barely cooking these days. But tomorrow I’m going to do pizza in the Ooni. Spent a couple hours getting everything ready. It’s been so long. Can’t find my infrared thermometer. I think I am set for everything else, after a trip to the grocery store.

I haven’t noticed any difference with the heat or cold. And we have a dryer vent cover on the outside, mainly to keep any critters out as the window is on ground level, being in a walk-out basement. And with the caulking around it, it looks just like a regular window. As far as ingress for burglary, I would think if someone’s going to break in, the glass would be easier to break. I could be wrong. Anyway, we know you’ll get it all worked out.

How are things going with a house mate? Easier or harder than you expected?

A bit harder to get used to than I thought it would be. Didn’t realize how much I valued solitude when the day is done.
