A sign for a friend's business

I recently made a sign for my friend’s business. I think it turned out nice!

Well done!

It looks like the details on the tree are engraved. Is the tree foliage also engraved, or is it painted/stained?

Beautiful!

A tip for getting the letters straight and properly spaced again when you come to attach it - use the orginal sheet with those letters and such cut out as a “positional template”.

It’s all engraved.

I made an outline of the logo for the background and glued the top layer to that.

The little cutouts on the tree took a bit of design time, as the logo was just an image. I did design work in inkscape

Thanks! I did give her the cut out stencil along with the pieces in case she wanted it for alignment

Oh that’s lovely! You’ve gotten so much depth on the tree despite it only being 2 layers!

Great hint reminder @eflyguy. I knew that at one point and then didn’t think to use it for the last sign I made.
