Here is an address sign that I made after seeing inspiration from Better Homes and Gardens. I got to thinking, well, I have wood boards and also PG material to laser the numbers - so I set out to make my own rendition of an address sign to put by my door. I made the wood look aged with a painting technique; glued moss to my laser cut numbers that I had also painted and sealed everything afterward since it’d be outdoors. I love the versatility that my GF offers!

Thanks!
Facinating! How do you get the moss to stay alive and hold on while not having it spread to the rest of the sign?

Thanks! I think that by the spray sealant that I covered it with will keep it from spreading… I’ll let you know if it proves me wrong but so far so good! (As I made this a little while back)

I think it’s dry moss.

It is - but I didn’t want to take any chances with it being outside! Haha

A friend in Seattle gave us some moss, he was rather attached to it and wanted us to know the joy of owning it.
Alas, it didn’t make it through the first summer in Atlanta…
