Adobe capture! game changer!

Its an app! If you can adobe already you can get this free!!

DRAW SOMETHING ON PAPER AKA THIS GARBAGE… I like Totoro okay?

Then the app automatically makes it an ai / vector.

then boom it’s in Illustrator and you can make your SVG super easily.

I have to try that…it would be a lot more of a game changer for me if I could actually draw though.

If you have the Glowforge app, you can actually send it straight from Adobe Capture to the Glowforge app.

Yes, this! I posted about it awhile back when the GF app launced. You can take a picture with an iPad, convert it in Adobe capture and send it straight to the GF in no time flat. It’s incredible.

It’s really good at tracing. So you can take a picture of something (or download an illustration for personal use) and trace it. I can’t draw to save my life and Adobe Capture has been fantastic for “drawing” for me.

Yup! It can also export SVGs directly to Dropbox, etc.

Just verified that’s still working by snapping a photo of my coffee mug. Here the SVG straight from the app:

Appears distorted because of the mug’s curvature…

Nope! Just set up an Adobe account. I used it on my Android phone before I switched to iPhone. It’s a free app in the officia app store put out by Adobe. They have a whole suite of light versions including an Illustrator-esque Draw app.

Thanks folks.
