The image I was using was a cog ‘shape’ and over that I placed another cog shape. The bottom one I wanted scored around the outside edges and the second one placed on top, I wanted engraved. Like a dark on light thing. I understand now…that’s when I got the error…and should have first used a boolean op. Thank you. Yay…I get so excited when I ‘get something’!
