Sooo…
I have a gen 1 old glowforge but im in need of a filter, which one would suit it, if any?
TIA
The official GF filter (not the GF “craft laser filter”) or are you looking for a non GF one?
So the one thats the most expensive of the two?
Non GF works too, i just need to not have the hose out of the window
Yup afraid so.
The ongoing filter cartridge costs will eat you up too.
I’m not sure why you need to switch to a filter, venting outdoors is better by far. Maybe if you let us know what the issue is we can help you work it out so you can keep venting outdoors?
Welcome back
I have been using Blu-Dri since before Glowforge had one. It is 500 CPM, well above the ~250 CPM of the Glowforge, and there are several specific filters rather than one combined one. The HEPA filter is very expensive, so having to replace that every time the others get full can get a lot more pricey.
It does have a 12" input which is an issue but less so than other filters. As I am able to use a window, I have it just cleaning the air for the whole house now.
Before that, this was the plan.
