AlumaMark is specialized aluminum that may be imaged or marked using a CO2 laser. No spray needed its already coated. Because AlumaMark is not etched or engraved, but rather marked through a thermal reaction with the heat of a laser, it is possible to create lighter marks and halftone shades.

seems like the only negative is you’re stuck with the size you buy. but it looks pretty cool. also comes in brass and mirror gold. .020" rigid and .005" foil.

What does durability look like? Other heat sources mess it up?

Another rich set of options with a new material. WOW! Keeps getting better and better.

Thanks for the question sorry for not responding sooner. I just got an update on its durability and finish. As a precaution, the plaque was sprayed with SUNGUARD UV Protectant Spray. It still looks great and my client is super happy with how it has turned out.
