Aluminum Trim Coil/ Gutter Coil

Does anyone know if Aluminum trim coil or gutter coil can be etched/engraved? It has a color coating but not sure what the process is. Has anyone ever tried this? Brand new here and waiting for my GF to arrive

It all depends on what it is coated with, you would need to do some research like finding the material data sheets or contacting the manufacturer. You need to avoid anything that contains chlorine as it can destroy your machine in as little as one print.
