Ancient Kauri, the world's oldest wood

I swear I need to stop looking at Kickstarter… So apparently these trees were leveled by tsunami and preserved since the stone age. The dice look really cool, so I am backing for a single die.

Looking at Ancientwood, Ltd., the only supplier of Kauri, they have a “thin and offshoots” selection that you can buy in $100 increments.

Has anyone worked with it before?

Whoa, that’s some expensive wood.

It may be old but it that does not translate to a lot of figure unless it is cut right. Google sources around you. You may find a better price and selection. It kinda works like satin wood
