My macbook pro doesn’t seem to fit. there is a black tab on the rear of the head that doesn’t clear the laptop when scanning. Did you use the crumb tray ?
Just take out the tray and prop it up so you’re within 0.5" of the head.
I thought about that…But I wasnt sure If it matters what I use to prop it up and how accurate my math needs to be for material thickness and focus height.
I have a couple of pieces of scrap wood I usually use. I’ve considered making a LEGO platform so it’d be totally adjustable. But I really haven’t needed to put in that much effort.
Very. Measure. Do the math. Put it in to the .xx place. It’s fairly important. Takes 2 seconds to measure your total thickness though. So no big deal.
