Another cool catan board

I found this catan board earlier today while scouting for ideas. There are definitely some parts of this I’d really like to try to recreate. The acrylic+wood water tiles especially.

Gorgeous. I love the water effect on the acrylic along the shoreline too. Looks like they painted the bottom and engraved the top for extra depth. How were the mountain pieces made? Is that just an extra beautiful wood or super intricate veneers pieced together?

Settlers Of Catan

Very little additional information but a couple more photos.
The edge of the blue acrylic was engraved in multiple steps to give it depth.
The other tiles are made from a combination of wood veneers and engraving
