Another delay!

Well if she’s ever in the Boston area, happy to show her around the hospital (we have a full operating room in our simulation center - where she can play surgeon for real…)

I think the issue is when dates get pushed back across the board. It would be nice to have a brief discussion of why. Otherwise it just feels like this tool is a way to disengage from us.

For example even secretive Tesla (who you are racing BTW, grin.) comes out with quarterly numbers, identifies issue in general way ( i.e. lower production than expected in ramp up, 2 suppliers had issues, one fired - part in-housed, the other one working together on issue.) and makes an estimate for customers although more general than yours ( a three month window).

So just a quick email or forum announcement with where the problem is ( in a general way ) would be helpful. If you project it will be correctable. We will probably still be crying a bit but hey - it’s because we really want your product. We have been patient. Good idea Dan?

You’re amazing. We just may have to plan a trip!

I ordered a basic on the 18th, my date got moved from Nov 9 to Dec 4.

This was a bunch of high school students I set up in the simulated OR with some residents handling a surgical emergency (the robot mannequin starts hemorrhaging)

It looks like there is a serious focus redirection to the pro units… Makes sense but still =( about the delay

It could be they got a large order of Pro parts (Power Supplies, tubes, optics) or are short on basic parts. For a very long time basics were in the lead, and they said some time ago that they were going to ramp up Pro production.

You look familiar. Sing on Sundays?

Good thing it wasn’t across the board then.

We haven’t had any dates get pushed back across the board, but every time we recalculate some dates shift forward and others backwards. I’ve posted an explanation for the various reasons dates move before, but I think the support team is writing up an FAQ on the subject so there will be something that’s easy to reference.

I ordered on Oct 22nd and my estimated delivery moved from Dec 28th to Janf 21th.

No bueno. -_-

Thank you Dan, appreciate your time and answer. Will look forward to the FAQ.

My date moved back to Jan 09.

I just thought on telling…

Not everyone. I’ve had mine 5 days and already I’m being told to send it back because of calibration issues.

That stinks, sorry you’re having to deal with that. So, yea, everyone seems pretty happy except where it’s broken and they need to send it back.
What’s the send-back process and experience like? Are they expediting a replacement? Let us know the turn around time you’re experiencing.

My date was first December 8th, then moved to Dec 28th, and now is December 15th.
Now the 13th

I’m sorry, I didn’t see this message.

I like to sing Karaoke. Where do you think you’ve seen me?

Ugh… excuse the expression, but that sucks! … I ordered mine Oct 23rd 2015, I have yet to receive the shipping date email. ugh! seems like its never going to happen. :slightly_frowning_face:
