I think my favorite part about this lit-acrylic maps is that the acrylic serves as the water surface. That just brings the whole thing together and even sheds even greater context to the map itself.
I hope I have time to play with something like this in the future, because I think this is just amazing!
Thanks. I did another map a while back with clear acrylic as the water layer, and even engraved the docks and piers along the shoreline, but this definitely makes it pop!
