It’s relatively small, and with a wooden handle only a small amount of effort is required.
Not to be hit with a hammer !
You’re producing a small moulding with a drawing action, in a relatively soft material, around the inside of a curved surface ?
A checker ? Pistol grip ?

Not really unique, but here is one that used to be ubiquitous in sign shops, and is now just about obsolete (even though it still functions perfectly).

Hint: I have shared a video here on the forum where I say the name and use the tool.
