I work in customer experience as my daily job so I understand requesting customer feedback is key to every business yet before I decide if I reply I want to ensure this is legit.
Has anyone else gotten a call or email from a “customer advocate” requesting feedback about their Aura?
Also what is the email domain of glowforge employees? on the website everything is @glowforge.com but the email contains a different domain.
The email signature also states the company address as Washington state but the phone number came through as Miami even though it did state “glowforge” was calling.
Never heard of this happening. All staff emails are sent from glowforge.com, so I’d be wary. You might consider forwarding the suspicious email to support@glowforge.com and ask them to verify if it’s real or not.
I got this call too, and I think it might be legit, though I never called back. I assumed I was getting the call because I have had issues with my Aura under warranty, and have expressed by frustration over email.
I submitted it to support and quickly got a response from the woman proving she’s legit. I haven’t replied still. I feel a bit off by being personally called and emailed for feedback and mentioned an offer to upgrade. Usually in my field of customer experience research we will send customer feedback surveys via email and do not partake in random direct outreach.
I haven’t reached out to glowforge about any issues since most I was able to resolve through others posts here or google searches.
