Anyone in the market for an air filter?

I am moving and will no longer need the air filter I purchased to use with my Glowforge Plus. I only used it for about a month and would love to sell it. Anyone know of a good place for selling gently used items like this?

Thanks for any help!

It’s hard to sell a filter as a small percentage of people use them, but it’s never bad to ask! You might add your location, and whether or not you have the box and equipment to ship.

If you get no bites here, there are a number of :glowforge: specific groups on Facebook, plus there’s the Discord chat which has a different subset of users than the forum does.

Before the glowforge filters were available I purchased a big commercial filter before figuring that I could exhaust out the window. Since then I have used it for its intended purpose of improving the air in the house. It might be possible to use the GF filter to improve the air in a room where reduced breathing ability is an issue.

My commercial filter is rated to 500 cfm and I would guess the Glowforge is about 250-300 cfm but many retail machines are closer to 100cfm.

So if they could just operate it to remove pollen or dust from the room, buying your used filter may be worth it even without the glowforge.

I could have sworn the final consensus for the tear downs was 200 cfm.

I have a 190cfm Vivo passthrough and while it works for light work it is not strong enough for any smokey situation. Enough that I could not use it alone when the exhaust fan died on my first machine. It is looking at a voulme to volume comparison that I see the main exhaust in at least the 250cfm and perhaps the 300cfm ballpark.
