They are exactly where AllForge was when they started their campaign. AllForge delivered 50 units I think and every one of them was defective, and AllForge had a minimum price of 4K with the high end units at 8K.

I don’t think they will ship at the price point they are advertising, or if they do it won’t work as they want.

There is a commercially available unit like this, but it starts at 9K. These people want to do the same thing for less than half the price.

If you have a reasonable machine shop you could make your own like the wax injector I linked to. A bit more effort and you could make your own 3d printer materials recycler. I used a wax injector for years that was obviously homemade.
