Anyone tried engraving a Samsung T5/T7 SSD?

They get down to pretty cheap, and seem to be the same sort of anodized aluminum as MacBooks, iPads, and the like. Of course, the ones I have on hand are bigger capacity and not so cheap, so I’m a little leery of trying new engrave settings blind…

Use the MacBook settings in the GFUI

Provided you’re lasing anodized aluminum and not plastic that looks like anodized aluminum, you won’t hurt the SSD. Go for it. Just make sure you don’t hit the connector and try to avoid static discharges to the drive while you handle it. It’s getting to be colder here in north america, humidity is down, static electricity is up. :slight_smile:
