Me too! I love maps, but I haven’t gotten around to making one yet. WOW was the only game I played so I don’t have a huge collection of map ideas. LOL

I don’t have a huge collection of map ideas either, I just think they look really cool. I would love to try to make one. (Added that to the list of things I want to make with my GF…)

Now that is ridiculous!

The last map I did I drew with JavaScript from county and state coordinates. But, that wasn’t for cutting or engraving, it was for an interactive heat-map.

Nice. The swirly resin(?) is an awesome touch.

Tangentially inspiring, too — I keep wanting to try the multi-layer topo-map thing that so many have, but haven’t thought of any real places that I find both personally meaningful and typographically interesting. But perhaps elevation data from a favorite game world might be workable…
